Matthew Nelson - Producer/Engineer/Musician
A multi-instrumentalist of more than 20 years with an inherent knack for song-writing, Matthew Nelson will continue to make waves in today’s commercial market. He is a guitarist and vocalist, who plays other instruments such as the trumpet, piano, bass guitar, and is proficient in programming a variety of others. As a result of several sessions in major studios in Chicago, he fell in love with the process and rapidly developed his own production skill set which he employs everyday. Matthew has a deep love for all music and a ruthless work ethic which has given rise to strong and lasting relationships with many artists and clients alike. These characteristics paired with his need to always be inventive make him capable of producing fresh, rich, and professional arrangements.

His productions with Red Velvet Ray Gun have recently been aired on the CBS show "The Young and the Restless" and the TBS show "Cougar Town". His score and sound design for Polaroid and Stanford Medical were featured in such places as the CES tradeshow and the Stanford University and San Francisco 49ers football stadium. “Watch It All Go Down,” a self-produced track from his current band Foreword, made its debut in Rockband 2 for Xbox 360, while other tracks can be heard on APB, an online game created by Realtime Worlds, Ltd. and Electronic Arts. His track “Send Rescue” debuted while streaming on celebrity Jessica Rey’s swimwear retail website and other tracks have been picked up for rotation in major businesses and retailers. Tim Hilliard - Producer/Engineer/Musician
A North Carolina native, Tim Hilliard has almost 2 decades of experience in the music industry. With a wide skill set and ear for “vibe” Tim quickly established himself as a go to producer for many different genres of music. As a guitarist, bassist, and designer of sound, his creative melodies and production ideas have shaped tracks for rock, alternative, country, hip hop, and electronic artists. Starting his music career on the east coast, Tim gained an appreciation for the organic nature of sound and honed his skill set as a tracking and mixing engineer. Relocating to Los Angeles in 2006, he expanded his musical palette and began producing singles, EP's, and records for artists in the greater LA area. As he worked with more and more artists, he created his production company and began to make his mark. Today, Tim continues his passion for sound and innovative approach to music and has joined the team at Foreword Recording.
Tim's productions have been heard on episodes of “Scrubs”, “Suits”, and more. He has worked with notable artists and members from Ben Folds Five, Afroman, Hoobastank, and Paul Freeman. He has recently completed EP's and albums for several up and coming artists in the Los Angeles area that are quickly gaining notoriety in several different emerging genres. A recent EP produced for the electronic duo, “Magic Bronson”, was reviewed by local media saying, “Magic Bronson's 'Nor'Easter' EP stirs up electronic storm”. Another EP produced for up and coming band, “The Other Words”, had the single, “Last Bit of Hope” make them finalists in the Breakout Artist Music Competition in the indie/folk category. Tim's ability to work across different genres and passion for sound has given him, and the artists he works with, creative and modern productions of trendsetting sound.
